Konnetic's Utter MSRP SDK is the first .NET solution for the Message Session Relay Protocol (MSRP). It provides a high-level fully managed code platform to enable application developers to create session-based messaging solutions such as those found in IMS or SIMPLE solutions.

The Utter MSRP SDK contains an MSRP API written for the .NET platform and any CLI language (C#, VB.NET, managed C++ and more). It is designed to run on either Mono or the Microsoft .NET CLR. Developers can now create session-based messaging solutions easily in the language of their choice and that runs a a huge number of platforms.

The API is intended to be at the centre of Instant Messaging client applications. The API takes care of the low-level MSRP details such as content chunking; Failure and Success REPORT Request processing and timeouts; MSRP Responses; and MSRP Session setup. The API exposes service-level features to enable easy development. Utter MSRP SDK is designed to get you quickly up and running with MSRP with minimum effort.

The SDK contains an RFC-based implementation of the MSRP standard as a NET API written against the .NET platform using C#.
